What has really changed?
56 years ago the roles were reversed.
With all of the coverage and reports concerning the January 6, 2021 attack on the United States Capitol, too bad no one in the news agencies reported anything of our history.
March 1, 1954, during debate on Migrant Workers – 5 congressmen from the 83rd Congress were injured from shots fired at them in the chamber of the House, United States Capitol.
Democratic Representative Ray Madden who opposed the Mexican Migrant Workers claiming they would take the jobs of millions of unemployed Americans; was debating
Republican Joe Martin, who supported the migrant workers, was egar to help farmers who relied on cheap migrant labor.
One might have thought that at least one studious reporter would have mentioned the March 1, 1954, Capitol shooting in history when reporting about January 6, 2021.
