George Floyd’s death was the result of Democratic policies

 

 

The Democratic Party needs to accept their responsibility in the murder of George Floyd.  I was a Democrat for over 40 years who supported Joe Biden on two former attempts to run for President. I cannot support Democrats any longer.

 

The Democratic Party that I joined 50 years ago was a party that worked for and supported the down trodden. They supported UNIONS when the workers needed union support.

 

Most policemen are fine upstanding and needed members of our society, but there are some who are more concerned with their power and carrying a gun to intimidate people. Bullies start in grammar school and grow from there – some become police, some become government bureaucrats, some are more interested in their own power and personal importance.

 

The Democratic Party that supports unions; they cater to the needs of unions for support and donations. The police union in Minneapolis MN, has protected abusive police officers. The officer who had been sited 16 times for abuse of power remained on the police force because his UNION supported him against the black police chief. They accused the Police Chief of being racist.

 

The ability to remove racist and abusive police for departments cannot begin while the Democratic Party continues to support unions that are more concerned with their own membership and power than civility and good government.

 

George Floyd’s death was the result of the Democratic Parties excess support for the police union member over the rule of law.
